Putting In The Effort

Hi There  I love my job. I love that I get to help and see other peoples' progress. I feel honored being a part of their journey.  But THEY need to put in the effort. When we start on their movement journey, we enter into an accountability relationship.This means we are accountable towards each other and our goals. I need to design programmes that challenges you in every way and that meets your physical standards and i need to make sure all this happens in a safe and productive way. YOU need to do the WORK. YOU need to put IN the EFFORT at your highest ability for it to work. I CAN NOT DO IT FOR YOU! I can shout, jump, do every movement with you whatever it takes, but I CANNOT DO THE WORK FOR YOU! Even if I sometimes wish I could.  Remember we are in this together. Sometimes it takes longer to see results or due to injury we get frustrated, but that is life. We have to push through the feelings and follow Nike and JUST DO IT. We might even have to start over or go in a diffe

1D Thinking Towards A Multidimensional Body

Hi There One thing that really get me going is how we think about the body and "fitness". It is like when it comes to the body we become stupid. Sorry for being crass but we do. Think about it.  If your 5 year old comes to you ans says he/she wants to be a pilot; you do not just allow him/she to fly a plane. No. There is a process. We might encourage  him/she by giving them books and letting them watch movies about the subject.  Firstly there is a knowledge set required and physical training involved. And he/she is going to need to grow up first. This makes sense right?  Why will it be any different with the body? We train the body in increments. We do not just run a 5 km when we haven't even walked 1 km!! How does that makes sense?? There is a process and a set of knowledge involved and some physical training involved!!! We are more than the some of our parts. We have a emotional/motivational aspect to take in account and that is not all. We have physical deficit

#2018Evolve

Hi There  Evolve encapsulates so much! I mean it means more than just physically. it embodies the whole. As you know I believe we all are more than the some of our parts… I just never thought we had so much outside our parts!!! Evolve also touches base with #NeverStopMoving. We should never stop moving in every human aspect of our lives. Thus we should always evolve. This is what #NeverStopMoving is all about.More than just exercise or movement but why we do it and how much joy it gives us. How it enriches our lives in every aspect Keep Moving until ne xt time 👋
